Yangzhou Friendship Hospital, founded in 1976, is a comprehensive national second-class first-class hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching and scientific research, and Affiliated Hospital of Medical College of Yangzhou University. In 1995, it was awarded the title of "Baby Friendly Hospital" by the Ministry of health; in 1998, it was recognized as "international emergency rescue center network hospital" by the Ministry of health. Since 1998, it has been rated as "Yangzhou top ten hospitals" and "Yangzhou civilized unit".
